Hey Everyone! I love shopping, makeup, and hair products. My husband will tell you that I partake of these fun things often. 😉
That’s why I thought it would be fabulous to share my cruelty free makeup, beauty, hair, and glam finds with all of you as a weekly feature on my blog!
I promise that MY beauty finds will always be (to the best of my knowledge:)
- Cruelty free (no animal testing or animal by-products)
- Not tested on animals when sold in the US
- Something that I have absolutely, unequivocally used/tried myself
- Have the leaping bunny approval from PETA or similar organizations. In lieu of that I will find research that certifies a cruelty free company position
- A product that I have reviewed on Influenster, so check me out there too!
Here’s the 3rd product in my Cruelty Free Favorites series:
I work from home so when it comes to makeup, I don’t go all out everyday. Many times, the only other living creatures I see on any given evening are my husband and my chihuahua. Therefore, I’m not going to put on a full face for them while we cook dinner, ride our bikes, and watch reruns of Stargate Atlantis.
That being said, when I do use makeup I always start with a powerful BB Cream that has great coverage and SPF built right in. My absolute favorite is e.l.f. Cosmetics BB Cream SPF 20. It is by far the best BB Cream foundation that I have ever used and of course, required no animal testing whatsoever to become so great!
The e.l.f. BB Cream is extremely convenient, no brush required. It is available in 4 shades: Fair, Buff, Nude, and Beige. I found it very easy to match up and the coverage is just fantastic! I really cannot say enough about how ALL encompassing the formula is. Plus, it has a very faint smell which I think is a plus for items going on your face frequently.
I almost forgot the best part: it’s only $6 a tube. Yes, you read that right. A single digit price for a fantastic and cruelty free makeup product from an established and ethical company.
I mean, does it get any better?
WHERE TO BUY:
I usually buy directly from elf Cosmetics because they are the bomb diggity, but sometimes I loiter in the Eyes Lips Face makeup section of my local Walmart or Target and try to talk myself out of buying like 10 things!
Have you used any e.l.f. Cosmetics products before? Let me know what you thought in the comments below.
